Skilled technicians are available to provide guidance and ensure safety. Thirteen
floor stalls and four complete vehicle lifts are available for use. All stalls are
equipped with toolboxes, floor jacks, and jack stands for convenience and
safety. The Center has many specialty tools that can be checked-out and
instructed on use as needed. A complete technical library is also available.
Equipment is on-hand for mounting and balancing most tires, drum and rotor
turning, and strut changing. The on-hand technicians are there to assist in
these operations as required. The skilled technicians are also able to retrieve
your trouble codes from your vehicle's computer if a check engine light occurs.
They have the ability to let you know what the code means and give you some
direction on where to properly start troubleshooting the problem.
Two outside car washes are available during the summer; and during the long,
cold winter months the center provides a stall for this purpose. When using the
inside car wash one must bring their own supplies. The center provides a warm
stall and water hose.
Want to learn car care basics? Schedule an individualized, introductory class. An
overview of car care, using the owner's car to demonstrate needed preventative
maintenance such as belt checks and oil changes. Prices start at $25 per hour
for instruction.
