The Eielson Child Development Center (CDC) provides available, affordable, quality child care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. The CDC promotes the cognitive, social, emotional and physical development of children through recreational and educational programming using the Air Force Creative Curriculum. They plan activities based on the children's needs and interests. The staff strives to build a trusting relationship with the parents, so parents can go to work feeling their children are in good hands.
The CDC is nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and certified by Air Force Agency. We offer enrollment in full time care, hourly care (based on space availability and by reservation) and a part day enrichment program (ages 3-5 that are potty trained).
Inbound families may place their children on the waiting list by sending a completed Defense Department Form 2606 and a copy of the sponsor's orders to the center before arriving. Fax copies to (907) 377-3629.
Fees are charged on a sliding fee scale based upon total family income. The center participates in the USDA Child/Adult Food program, which allows the program to provide nutritious meals and snacks at no additional cost.
